When developing the music for these notebook sequences, one of my main aims was to give people some air and light between the intensities that the usual chapters would bring. To me, this meant approaching the arrangements of the pieces to be more minimal and sparse; almost more meditative. I also wanted to make sure that certain harmonies would reflect Kasio’s mindset when erasing bit by bit. (1/4)
